Campus Oslo
Student life is a lot more than lectures and auditoriums. It can be the best, most challenging, stressful, and rewarding period of your life. You will meet new people, find new interests, and develop yourself both socially and academically.
Natural light and open spaces give the BI campus the sensation of a small village; a place where everybody can feel at home. However you prefer to study, there is a place for you.
The building is covered by a glass ceiling and comprises four blocks on seven levels. The open and transparent campus building exposes the activities in the building to the surrounding streets and public spaces. The open terraces, galleries, small nooks and quiet areas have been created as special meeting places and to add life to the building.
The escalator in the centre of the building goes only one way – up! It leads to the Library, which stretches over the two top floors. In this sunniest and most transparent part of the building. Any student will find a work space to meet their needs and desires, be it group rooms and AV rooms, silent zones, social meeting areas or a comfortable chair by the windows overlooking the city. However you prefer to study, there is a place for you.
Explore the Study Facilities
Lecture rooms
The building is designed for educational activities. We have 20 auditoriums and 28 class rooms, equipped with the latest technology for educational purposes.
Study Areas
We offer many kinds of study areas - group stations, flexible work stations for both individuals and groups, silent areas and computer areas. In total, we have more than 3000 study stations on campus.
Group Rooms
We have 48 group rooms in the lower floor. In the library, we have 46 group rooms and 9 AV rooms. The group rooms can take 4-6 persons.
Open Door Policy
Contrary to stricter learning institutions, as a student at BI you should never be afraid of asking questions. The professors have an open door policy, so if you have any course-related questions, track them down and pick their brain.
Food and Drinks
We offer a wide range of options for food and drinks. The campus has a student cafeteria, kiosks and coffee shops. The goal is to provide a variety of food made up of fresh commodities.
