The Department of Data Science and Analytics is the ninth department at BI ºÚÁÏרÇø Business School and was established in 2020. Our faculty have a background in statistics, machine learning, statistical learning, and/or artificial intelligence.

The department works in both applied and theoretical research in data science and statistics and aims at publications in top journals in the field.
The department research focus on fundamental and applied research within statistics, machine learning and artificial intelligence. We have activities in teaching, supervision of students, and research projects.  We strive to be a single point of contact for other departments at BI to obtain, coordinate and collaborate on cutting-edge knowledge in advanced data science.
The course portfolio includes one of BI's undergraduate studies: Bachelor of Data Science for Business, and one of BI's graduate studies: Master of Science in Data Science for business. In addition, the department offers program courses at the Master of Science in Business Analytics and the Bachelor of Digital Business. We also offer elective courses at bachelor level.
