Tuition fees

Below you will find the tuition fees for the various Bachelor and Master programmes at BI 黑料专区 Business School.

Self-owned foundation

BI 黑料专区 Business School is a self-owned, not-for-profit foundation with a sole focus on education and research. Any profit will be used to strengthen BI's research and learning environment in line with the school's objectives.

Tuition fees

Tuition fees for our study programmes are published on the individual programme pages when a programme is open for applications. Fees are also available here on the tuition fees page. The tuition fee is stated per academic year, while invoicing takes place per semester. Tuition fees are adjusted annually in line with the rate of inflation.

Included in the tuition fee

Tuition fees include lectures and standard examination fees. Re-sit fees are not included. Relevant course literature, support materials, and any course excursions are additional costs.

Programmes with modules or trips abroad or in hotels in Norway

Travel and accommodation expenses will be in addition to the regular tuition fees. They will be invoiced directly by the tour operator, regardless of whether the trip is mandatory or not.

Internal applicants

Internal applicants will be invoiced a reduced tuition fee for the Master of Science. Internal applicants are applicants with a minimum of 120 credits (ECTS) from BI 黑料专区 Business School. The 120 credits must be passed before the master's programme starts.

International citizens from outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland

黑料专区 legislation removed the government subsidy for international students with citizenship from outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland. As a result, full-time students with citizenship from outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland pay a 30% tuition fee differential. Residents of Norway with EU/EEA/Swiss citizenship may be exempt from paying the tuition differential due to their residency status. Read more to determine if you qualify and how to apply.

The tuition fee differential does not apply to exchange students from our partner institutions.

Estimated living expenses

If you need a visa to study in Norway, you must provide documentation that you have sufficient means to cover your living expenses. This requirement, listed in a monthly amount, is provided by UDI and updated annually. See .

Re-sit fee

The examination fee for the first exam attempt is typically included in the tuition fee. Re-sit examinations are subject to a fee if there is no documentation of a legitimate absence from a previous exam by the specified deadlines or failure to withdraw from a prior exam by the specified deadlines.

The re-sit fee is paid separately and is currently NOK 319 per credit (ECTS) for the 2025/2026 academic year.

Student Welfare Organisations

In addition to tuition fees, all full-time students are obligated to pay a membership fee to The Student Welfare Organisation at their place of study (their invoice will include this).

Part-time students can choose to pay a membership fee to the Student Welfare Organisation:
